I am thrilled to announce that we have four new leaders joining us on our mission of empowering small business success around the world. Please help us in giving a warm GoSite welcome to Mehul Asher, Alex Barnett, Puneet Kumar, and Ken Narita who have joined the Product & Growth team in various leadership roles. These new leaders are bringing a wealth of knowledge to the GoSite family, and we want to take a moment to introduce them!

Introducing Mehul Ahser, Head of Product management, FinTech

Introducing Mehul Asher, Head of Product Management, FinTech

Mehul brings a great deal of experience working with SMBs and 3rd party app developers. He was instrumental at Intuit in launching a whole new and simplified developer experience including access to a whole new set of payment APIs for 3rd party app developers. At PayPal, he led the adaptive Payments API product processing upwards of $1B in payment volume every quarter.

Most recently at Trov (insurtech startup), he was wearing many hats - leading their embedded insurance API, offering and managing partnerships with a major bank and a commercial van manufacturer. Prior to Trov, he was leading the payments platform at Lending Club - his team was responsible for all the money movement to the tune of $1.8B every quarter.

Mehul works out of New York and has hit the ground running driving various product initiatives. He has 2 boys (10 and 6) and is actively involved in coaching their soccer teams and is trying to enjoy the beautiful weather while it lasts!

Originally from London, UK, Alex now lives in Menlo Park, CA with his wife Daisy and combined families of 4 kids - William, William(!), Carl, Sarah, and puppy Chelsea. Passionate about cricket (he was a pro cricketer for Middlesex and Lancanshire back in the day), both listening to and creating music (anyone know what “modular synthesis” is??), and of course, cocktails and steaks!

Introducing Puneet Kumar, Head of Engineering

Introducing Puneet Kumar, Head of Engineering

Puneet comes to us most recently from SquareTrade, an Allstate company that went from being a Series B to a billion dollar acquisition where he built the team and the SaaS engines that bring ideas to life and fuel growth.

Puneet is an engineering and technology leader - With over 20+ years of experience, the last six years were spent at SquareTrade in the warranty/insurance industry covering phone and smart devices to big appliances. He also worked on merchants’ integration for Walmart, Target, The Home Depot, and integration with small repair businesses for servicing claims. He grew and led their B2B2C platforms and products, supporting fullstack, mobile, backend, database and data engineering, trust & safety and CI/CD.

Puneet lives in the East Bay Area and was born and raised in India. He went to University of Pune, India and earned his Master’s degree in Computer Science. He has two girls, ages 17 and 11. He’s all about catching up on movies, web series with family, road tripping, listening to Bollywood music, and watching all kinds of cricket matches.

Introducing Ken Narita, Head of Growth

Introducing Ken Narita, Head of Growth

Ken’s experience spans over two decades scaling growth for companies large and small. His experience in growing teams covers all functions of Marketing, from Demand Generation, Field Marketing, Customer Marketing, Marketing Ops, Creative Services, Product Marketing, Corp Comms, and Channel Marketing.

He comes to us most recently from Ooma, a small business cloud communications provider where he built the team and consistently grew the business for 16 straight quarters. When he arrived, the business was driving $100M ARR, and most recently, now $180M ARR, of which 50% of net new revenue has been driven from Marketing.

Prior to his four years at Ooma, Ken spent six years at TriNet, a cloud HR provider, also targeting small businesses. He grew and led the revenue marketing team through a time of rapid growth and change, as well as an IPO in 2014. Similarly, from a scaling perspective, revenue was around $220M ARR when he started, and when he left, it was $650M ARR; of which 40% of net new revenue was driven through his team.

He’s all about comic book movies, and every now and then likes getting onto the tennis court too. Over shelter-in-place, he has also learned he enjoys cooking! Next time you see him, ask what he’s struggling to make well!
