Go-Getter [goh-get-er]

  1. A GoSite employee who has gone above and beyond on a given day to fulfill one or both of the GoSite mottos: #JustGo and #BeAGoodPerson.

  2. A GoSite team member who was nominated by a colleague for displaying an act of excellence or for just being a pleasure to work with.

  3. Somebody at GoSite who demonstrated the company’s core values and deserves some extra recognition.

  1. Good person, team player, awesome coworker, appreciated colleague.

A long-standing tradition here at GoSite is that of the Daily Go-Getter. Each day at 3:30pm a nomination form is sent out for employees to respond to, nominating somebody who best demonstrated GoSite’s core values that day.

The winner is announced by end of day in a company-wide email blast, including the winner’s photo and the reason for their nomination.

To us, the Daily Go-Getter is a fun, meaningful way to recognize somebody that deserves a shoutout or some spotlight. Without further ado, allow me to introduce you to GoSite’s go-getters from the week of February 08, 2021.

What is your favorite part about working at GoSite?

My favorite part of GoSite is the go-getter culture. I’ve always been a person who thrived in environments that push me to work my hardest and encourage me to be the best I can be. I love GoSite’s positive and encouraging culture and I am forever grateful to be working here.

Do you have any secret talents?

I can make my tongue twist a full 360 degrees.

What’s your wackiest unpopular opinion?

I only like the cookie part of Oreo cookies—the white part is gross.

What’s your favorite college memory?

One of my favorite memories is studying abroad in Shanghai. I probably gained 10 pounds from that trip, all I did was eat.

Who or what inspires you most?

My parents inspire me everyday because they raised me to be kind, hard-working, and compassionate. They are two of the best people I know and they made me who I am today.

What’s your favorite thing to do in your free time?

I love free time! I think my favorite thing to do is to go to the beach with my friends. Surfing, bike riding, going to bars! Unfortunately, my free time now has changed to FaceTime happy hours in my living room and hiking with my friends six feet apart, but trying to make the most of it!

If your life had a theme song, what would it be?

“What I Got” by Sublime.

Tell us about your pet.

My dog’s name is Elvis Presley Church and he’s a six-year-old Maltipoo. He was rescued from Inglewood, CA and is interested in people more than dogs. Fun fact: He likes to drink milk and sleep on people's heads. You can follow him on instagram at elvis_thepelvis13 (although he doesn’t post much). He is my life.

What podcast do you listen to most frequently?

“Reality Life” with Kate Casey. I LOVE reality shows. Most people will call them “trash shows” but I don’t care. If anyone ever wants to discuss Real Housewives, 90 Day Fiance, Love after Lockup, The Bachelor, Southern Charm, Summer House, and many more, message me because we have a lot to talk about.

What’s a fun fact about you that would surprise people?

I’ve gone skydiving over 40 times!

What’s your favorite thing to do in your free time?

Some of my favorite things to do in my free time include surfing, golfing, watching sports, and hanging with my friends and family! I am a die-hard Padres fan, so during baseball season I try to watch as many games as I can. Also, since turning 21, I have enjoyed trying out different breweries.

If your life had a theme song, what would it be?

“Celebrate” by Rebelution.

What are your favorite sports teams?

Padres, 49ers, and SDSU basketball and football.

What podcast do you listen to most frequently?

“Pardon My Take” by Barstool Sports. I am a big sports fan so I love listening to this podcast. It’s really funny and they have some great athletes come on for interviews, so I highly recommend it to any sports fans who haven’t listened yet.

What’s your dream vacation spot?

The Amalfi Coast.

Thursday: Preeti Kelapure

Preeti Kelapure director, lifecycle marketing

Where are you from?

I was born and raised in the San Francisco Bay Area.

What’s your favorite college memory?

I went to UCSB, so most stories are better left unsaid! But, I will say, my favorite memory was the first time I ever saw dolphins in their natural habitat, frolicking in the sparkling blue ocean from the bluffs near campus.

What’s your wackiest unpopular opinion?

“Tiger King” was terrible. And not in like an ironic way. I’m pretty sure I lost brain cells after that.

What’s a fun fact about you that would surprise people?

Several years back, the secret service confiscated my laptop. True story! Basically, they made me miss my ride to go camping on my day off, so that I could bring in my work laptop. Apparently, there had been a giant data breach at the company. Obviously, there was nothing on it, but that was interesting to say the least!

What’s your favorite thing to do in your free time?

I love to work on creative projects. I started a small handmade jewelry business. You’ll often see me wearing my work. But, really I love anything you can lose yourself in, whether it’s decorating a room, painting/drawing, or photography. I also like outside things. If the pandemic has taught me anything it’s that I love nothing more than a good backyard grill by the pool with a fire pit.
